Black & Duncan is a prominent accounting and consulting firm with its main
office in Duluth and a second office in Tucker. RoseBud Technologies
initially approached RYBD hoping to partner with them and work with
their clients. During these initial discussions, RYBD determined
that RoseBud could provide technology services directly to their firm. They
had a growing practice with a mix of software and no reliable means of
linking its two offices. Microsoft Small Business Server was installed to
improve the general network system environment. Using their internet
connection, Rosebud established a virtual private network (VPN) between the Duluth
office and the Tucker office. This allows staff in either office or at home
to interact seamlessly with the firms’ network. RoseBud Technologies
assisted RYBD in being a technology example for its clients.
