CyberStarts is a
full service incubator and accelerator that focuses on business-to-business
financial services as well as web infrastructure opportunities. CyberStarts
was initially faced with the question, “What kind of IT environment and
infrastructure should we create to support our business and our operating
companies?” They needed to build an IT infrastructure and provide ongoing
support that would serve them and six to eight companies with up to 50
employees each. This is a very dynamic environment where the number of
companies, employees and users is constantly changing.
After an initial review of CyberStarts' business plan and objectives, RoseBud
became the IT department for CyberStarts. RoseBud planned, designed,
implemented and now maintains the CyberStarts network environment. This
includes Internet access, routers, switches, servers and desktop systems. RoseBud configured and installed all of the equipment and necessary
software. RoseBud provides access to this network with world-class tools
from Microsoft, Cisco and Nortel. On a weekly basis, RoseBud provides
ongoing maintenance for the system including desktop support and employee
network training for all of the users. |
