NIOXIN Research
Laboratories, Inc. is a privately held, family owned business dedicated to
assisting people with fine and thinning hair through the production and
distribution of its full system of cleansers, conditioners, treatments and
styling products. NIOXIN has been serving people with thinning hair since
1987 and sells its products through professional hair salons.
Since NIOXIN’s founding, systems and technology had been implemented as a
passive assistant to the business. NIOXIN wanted to grow and they wanted to
be sure that technology played a part in making that growth successful. NIOXIN had made significant investments in technology, but there was an
underlying belief that things could be better. They wanted help in
understanding what they had, what they needed and how to use technology as
an active participant in the continued success of the business.
RoseBud performed an Information Technology Assessment & Review for NIOXIN. During this assessment, RoseBud met with the senior management team and many
of the line managers in the business. This process insured that technology
planning and decision making could be accomplished consistent with the
objectives of the business. NIOXIN and RoseBud also had to define an
acceptable pace and schedule so that any improvements could be made in a way
that was compatible with a growing business.
