Junior Technology Consultant

Job Description:

Technology Generalist

• Provide day to day technical support for a diverse group of client companies.
• Duties include desktop support, server support, support of peripheral devices    such as printers,  PDAs, and scanners.
• Must be conversant in general technology trends and be able to communicate with a non technical audience in a meaningful way.

All work is performed in the Atlanta metro area.

Personal Skills:

• Maintain a high degree of professionalism with clients and contacts
• Manage client expectations to completion of tasks and projects.
• Manage system and/or network issues to resolution.
• Maintain a holistic view of the client business including systems, networks, and software.
• Be able to communicate effectively to a non technical audience.
• Be able to demonstrate good troubleshooting skills/methods.
• Be able to operate within set guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Technical Skills:

Familiar knowledge of the following:

• Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP Professional
• Microsoft Office 2000, Office XP, and Office 2003
• Web site design and development

Experience with the following a plus:

• Microsoft Windows Server systems
• Microsoft Small Business Server

Work schedule is flexible and can be tailored for part time or full time opportunities.

This is a salaried position that includes a mileage reimbursement.
